DropInn Upgrade

One Year

Step 1

 

Back up your current DropInn files, folders and database.

NOTE: This upgrade will work with Official DropInn version ONLY. If you applied some fixes to your DropInn then this patch should work in most cases, but there are some fixes that may cause conflict. If in that case, you can very well touch base with us at support@cogzidel.com or Skype us at ‘cogzidel

 

Step 2

 

Download and extract the Patch File and upload its files to your current installation, replacing all old files. Make sure that old files were REALLY replaced – site can become nonfunctional at all if old files are still in place.

After replacement give the 777 folder permission for upgrade folder.

 

Step 3

 

Open the following URL in your favorite browser:

http://your-domain.com/path-to-DropInn/upgrade/

Then, you will need to fill up your database name, host name, username & password to complete the upgrade. It will not affect your data but database structure will be modified.

You are done! Go to Site Home or Site Admin and check the upgraded version 🙂

    Because the home did not pass my informatic? We are waiting for more than a month. You can not do this. You have to serve customers who will buy the clone. We are totally neglected. Urgently need the technical sevice, because there are many faults and errors in the clone. We need help that never comes!

  4. Do we need to delete folder /upgrade after the upgrade?

      You have two options for this,

      1) Uninstall your DropInn previous version and install the latest version
      Note : You will lose all your files once you uninstall them

      2) To keep all your files, you need to update each and every single file, without uninstalling.

      • When you provide a new upgrade. Could you also provide a list of updated files, this would help already established websites using your script to more easily upgrade their sites.

  6. Can I upgrade directly from 1.8 to 3.0? Or do I have to perform each upgrade version one after one? I have the premium version. Thanks.
