What is a Storyboard?
Storyboard is a cluster of unstructured requirements transformed into a structured format, formed with minimal interaction with the client.
Most of Cogzidel’s clients come up with one line requirements, cluster of unstructured requirements & lot of unclear requirements.
As Cogzidel follows AGILE development methodology, there were frequent conflicts with the customer as the scope looked creepy. To overcome the situation, we evolved the process to freeze the scope for every milestone & hence Storyboard was born. Cogzidel has built 300+ storyboards wherein lot of unstructured scopes has been structured & it gave the clarity to the client.
This initiative ended up as a win-win situation for both the company & the customer, saving their time & money. Customers were happy as they are able to see what they envisioned in a structured manner. Cogzidel’s Business Analysts have well trained in collecting adhoc scopes/requirements & convert them to professional storyboard.
Who all will take part in it?
Usually the storyboard is designed by the Business Analyst who will initially look at the specification that the customer has given the Team to develop. Additionally a developer, usually the senior one will help in creating a storyboard. The client, can pitch in and make alterations to the storyboard. The client can bring a programmer from their end too to have a look at the Storyboard and make changes to it.
Cogzidel’s BA will send a questionnaire to the client to collect their initial requirement like
